How to make those big decisions when everything feels muddle
As we emerge from this pandemic (fingers crossed — and boy am I tired of talking about it!) I know many are eager to dive back into the life they knew before the pandemic.
But for many of us, that “before pandemic” life feels miles away. What did we even do then? Schedule holidays without fear? Plan business events with no thought of having to cancel them? Actually socialize with people in person, out in the world, regularly?
This new hyper-virtually connected world we find ourselves in has some merits, to be sure, so how do we merge the benefits of what we learned about working and planning inside of a global health pandemic with the lovely in-person connections we used to make with ease, before that time?
I saw a Meme recently that perfectly summarized how many people are feeling — exhausted after adding calendar invitations and socializing to our schedule. We’re not used to it, and the overwhelm of prioritizing and knowing what to add to our calendar — or even if we want those things back in our calendars — is real.
Beyond the personality preferences of extroversion vs. introversion, and the potential discomfort that comes with just jumping back into the way things used to be, there’s the lack of control many of us had to deal with over the last year. We worked so hard on releasing control, what does it mean to introduce some of it back again? The actual ability to plan?
All of this can lead to a general lack of clarity and murkiness around decision-making and our best next steps for our career, business and life.
I believe there are two key things that need to be in place before you can make those big decisions:
- Clarity — around the issue and the factors
- Confidence — to make the decision
And then a third — Communication — to find the words and know the way to communicate that decision.
The CLARITY is the piece that hangs people up the most — and then the FEAR that you may be making the wrong decision, or it will impact people you care about negatively, or “what will people think?!?” if you step out into the world showing up differently, or differently, than others are used to seeing you?
How do you know what the right decision is? How do you know when it’s time to make a big change?
I created a proven process around decision-making that has helped countless people uncover their best next step, the impact they want to make in the world and the confidence to make those decisions.
It’s a process that breaks down the factors at play, helps you see them with CLARITY so you can make those decisions with CONFIDENCE and then COMMUNICATE them with ease.
It’s called The Alignment Equation©
What do you need to feel Aligned and acting ON PURPOSE in every area of your life and work?
The Alignment Equation helps you sort out all those pieces.
The other piece to accelerating this decision-making process and giving you the clarity and confidence you need to make the right decisions is the beautiful impact of developing your Alignment Equation in COMMUNITY with other like-minded people.
It could be your spouse, your friends, your colleagues — or it could be a room of amazing women all gathered on the same quest for one magical weekend, wrapped together with camaraderie, beautiful yoga sessions, art & creativity and a facilitated conversation and designed program that helps you get there.
All gathered together with love and connection to help you find your purpose, your “why” and your best next steps so you can make those decisions with clarity and confidence — and then communicate them with purpose.
This is my work to do in the world — to help inspire and uncover your best next steps so you can live a life of joy, of peace, of purpose while making the impact you were meant to make in the world — while often monetizing them for personal and professional success.
What would living a life and building a career or business ON PURPOSE do to increase the IMPACT you know you are here to make?

To your success, in business, in your career and in life,
TLDR? The challenge with making difficult decisions is not having the clarity or the confidence to do so. Developing your Alignment Equation can help you get there with ease and confidence. Developing it in community is way more fun — and powerful. The Align Retreat, happening May 12–15, 2022 is my next group experience offering this opportunity to gain clarity and make those difficult “What’s Next?” decisions once and for all.
